Crossway's ESV Family Devotional Bible "is designed to help families read and apply God’s Word together." And it does. With 130 full page and full color illustrations devotions focused on a specific Bible stories, it provides a strong visual for adults, as well as for young ones to find it appealing as well. Clearly marked with a bottom tab that states when the next devotional reading will be on, it gives an idea as to when to expect another published devotional.  Each devotional also includes questions for the family to discussed openly and even a key verse to dwell and share on.  For the full list of devotions, there's also a colored index in the back, along with full colored maps that family members can refer to.

A great size, 5.5"W x 8.75"L x 1.5"D it is easy to carry to the dining table or to the family living room or even to a picnic at the local park. The coated hardcover makes it extremely durable and the attached ribbon bookmark allows you to keep your place for the next gathering. The only thing I would say is that I would like to see Jesus' words in a different color, thereby allowing young kids/teens to easily read and differentiate. Minor detail. In all, a great family Bible to immerse in discussions together with great illustrations for a visual understanding as well.
