But when a whistleblower turns up dead, it paints a target on the back of everyone involved.
Former Army Ranger turned private investigator Landon James steps in to handle security for Kate. He’s still haunted by mistakes in his past and is determined never to let something like that happen again. As danger closes in, Landon can’t help but admire Kate’s courage and resolve–but will her determination not to back down become too great of a risk?

Riveting doesn't cut it with this legal romantic suspense from Rachel Dylan. My very first legal thriller in the Christian fiction genre, Deadly Proof is filled with suspense, legal jargon and romance, and I'm just loving it. Both our main characters, attorney Kate Sullivan and ex-Ranger turned private eye, Landon James illustrated strength amidst vulnerabilities during a cut-throat case. Their partnership developed with mutual respect and ultimately a romance line that is believable and heart-warming. With lots of drama mixed in with murder have our characters watching their backs, and allowed readers to really dive into this case. Personally, I think I've learned a bit with the legalities of the case. I love the visual representation the author's able to show in her writing. It reminds of watching a crime series on television.
In all, Deadly Proof proves deadly with it's thrilling suspense and a case that reminds you of news. I'm looking forward to further thrillers from Rachel Dylan for sure!
Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher. I was not required to write a positive review, and have not been compensated for this. This is my honest opinion.
